(Cooking) Salt beef ( Dried beef ) "Neua Khem"
Just bought the beef boneless from "Zenith shop" near Model Town last night,
I planed to make Salt beef or dried beef or " Neua Khem " one of my favorite Thai food.
More delicious to eat beside the Green curry.
Zenith have really good quality and fresh beefs especially when price is inexpensive
comparing to Thailand that make me feel like eating beef daily.
Beef boneless in Zenith 1 kg is 380 rupees (Around 130 baht)
Beef in Thailand in normal season is 200-220 baht ( around 600 rupees +)
And more expensive on Eid the price would go up till 250-280 baht.
And for making the salt beef is very easy just put some salt and soya sauces in sliced beef.
Dry it under the sun for 2 days, fry with low heat & eat with white rice.

(Food) 2 versions of barbecued BBQ in Pakistan
(Life style) Afternoon tea time @Pakistan
In Thailand we don't have this kind of culture. May be because we don't have so much time to sit and drink tea as in every minutes were so rush and times are more valued than to waste on sitting and drink tea.
But in Pakistan this afternoon tea time is quite important even in the Village. We mostly started making tea by 3.30 - 4 Pm. And now it become our habit to drink tea on afternoon even with my daughter she never drink tea before and just started drinking when she lives in Pakistan only.
And still life in Pakistan is like kinda slow motion movies even in the big city like Lahore.

(Cooking) Green curry with chicken
Here's the easy menu from Thai masala named " Green curry". I brought so many kind of Thai masala
with me cos it's quite difficult to find delicious Thai food in Pakistan. And this brand of Masala is
exactly Thai taste as original.
Even thought it might be easy with Masala but I forgot to think about ingredients here where to find
Coconut milk? Kinda head-ache ! fine I just tried to get what is there in Pakistan!
And here we go!
- On medium heat, put 1 spoon of vegetable oil in a wok.
- Then add the green curry paste (Masala).
- Stir-fry for 2min until it is aromatic.
- Add milk a little. Stir till it got boiled.
- Add Chicken meat and egg plant ( Egg plant looks a bit different from
Thai egg plant but same taste)
stir till chicken and egg plant are half cooked .
- Add some water and little at a time till it full.
( Or enough for everyone in family)
- Season with the salt and sugar.
- Add red chillies ( I couldn't find so I put the green one) And one last thing if you could find
it would make this curry taste more like Thai style " The sweet basil or Ho Ra Pa "
But I couldn't find it in the market near my place.
What pity!
All Done My Green curry with chicken in Pakistan.
We ate this curry with Naan, Roti and also White rice.
